Ecosystems Energy and Human Impacts Project In this project you are creating a food web in either a terrestrial OR aquatic ecosystem To help you create your food web you organisms complete with their name trophic level and diet You may research your own organisms but feeding relationships re web must include all components listed Once your food web is complete you will answer a set of prompts about your food we time see timeline below to work on this project Your food web must have the following REQUIRED components Components You can create your food web as a Poster PowerPoint 1 At least 15 organisms 2 A printed picture picture provided by teacher of the organism with its name trophic level and whether it s a produce omnivore Written Portion 3 You must include at least 5 food chains each consisted of at least producer a primary consumer and a secondary com 4 Draw all the connections within your web neatly with arrow pointing to where the energy is going Some items may ha coming to it or leaving from it Research and answer the following prompts Explain the movement of energy in your food web 10 rule Explain the importance of producers in your food web Explain the outcome of one of the following human impacts on your food web deforestation urbanization wate overfishing air pollution poaching trash invasive animals Choose one species to remove from your food web How does that impact your food web Timeline Week 1 Day 1 Sketch a rough draft of 5 food chains using organisms from the give list Week 1 Day 2 Create a rough draft of a food web that contains the 5 food chains Week 1 Day 3 Using the rubric ensure that your final food web is accurate Turn into teacher Week 1 Day 4 Answer the first two prompts and turn into teacher Week 1 Day 5 Research a human impact on your food web Answer the third prompt and turn it into the teacher eek 2 Day 1 Answer the fourth prompt and turn it into the teacher ek 2 Day 2 Adjust answers to prompts based on feedback and turn in final responses
