As a cT air mass advances into the same area as an mP air mass, what can be expected to happen? The mP air mass will be undercut by the warmer, more dense air of the cT air mass. The CT air mass will erode from the moisture of the mP air mass. The CT air mass will rise over the mP air mass and erode it from the top-down. The mP air mass will not move, resulting in a stationary front between them.
