Draw orbital sketches and build the models for: a) Ethene/ethylene (C₂H4). Each carbon in ethene has 3 regions (gray pieces, sp2) this molecule is trigonal planar, the 3D structure is done with solid lines, all in the same plane) b) Ethyne/acethylene (C₂H₂). There is only one triple bond (gray) with regions above and below the internudtear axis. The piece already represents the two carbons of the triple bond, just add the two hydrogens (white spheres). The piece without H represents 4 carbons. The angles around each carbon are 180⁰.
