While decorating, your friend drops a holiday ornament. (Oh no!) Explain using the concepts of impulse and momentum why the ornament is more likely to survive the collision with the ground if it is dropped from a low heigh than it would be from a higher height. (Note: Less force on the ornament would be safer. Assume the time of the collision is the same in both cases.) Include a momentum bar chart for each case along with your reasoning.
