Story of Kunduz
The seeds of Kunduz were sown in a boarding school in Turkey. We, three friends, met in the high school. We prepared for the university entrance exam, taken by millions of students every year, at this school, and we all made our way to study at the most selective engineering program in the country.

Seeing how access to instant help and quality education in this small school, with students from every walk of life, can actually transform everyone's lives is what brought us together to found Kunduz. Many of our high school and college friends, along with many passionate education enthusiasts, joined us on this journey of change.

What started as a side project while at Stanford’s Graduate Schools of Education soon inspired some of the leading investors in Silicon Valley. Barış is a 3rd time entrepreneur, after selling his first company as one of the most visited talent and recruitment platform of Turkey, he worked in London at global companies as senior developer. Barış is passionate about building products that help people every day at scale.

Before Kunduz, Başar worked as a management consultant at McKinsey. He received his MBA and Masters in Education at Stanford. Başar is passionate about making quality education accessible to everyone and personally believes that personalized learning has the greatest potential to lead the sought-after educational revolution.

Melih previously worked at PepsiCo where he was the brand manager for brands like Pepsi and Lay’s in Turkey and Eastern Europe, leading the brand in 32 countries.. Melih is obsessed with products that inspire people.
