Eclipses and Moon Phases Activity This lesson highlighted

Eclipses and Moon Phases Activity This lesson highlighted eclipses and lunar phases. If you had to teach another person about the difference between the two events, how would you explain it? Models are a great way to explain a process. For instance, if you used a flashlight as the sun and made a model of Earth and the moon, you could show how an eclipse forms as shown in the student sample. Choose either eclipses or lunar phases and make a model of the event. Your model can take any form, providing it can explain how your event takes place. Once you have created your model, use it to teach someone else about lunar phases or eclipses. Submit a picture, video, or diagram of your model to your instructor, along with evidence of how you used your model to explain your selected event.
