In an experiment, membrane bags were filled with sucrose solutions in higher and higher concentrations (higher molarity). These bags were then put into beakers of distilled water. We then weighed the bags at the end and found that the mass of each bag had increased (see the graph above). This happened because: a) Water entered the bags b) Water exited the bags c) Sucrose exited the bags d) Sucrose entered the bags.
